Welcome. I'm Michael
I'm a spiritual author, intuitive channeler, and near-death experiencer whose work is built on a single conviction: that your inner voice is not something you develop– it's something you return to.
After a near-death experience showed me exactly what this moment in human history requires, I created the Self-Led Life Practice– a framework for empaths, sensitives, and creatives to stop shrinking from their depth and start leading from it. To embrace their egos as they were always meant to and lead with their spiritual gifts and innate compassion in a world that desperately needs conscious voices to be bold.
My message is both a teaching and a call: make your inner voice louder than your outer world, and watch what becomes possible.
Career
For my professional career, I received my MFA in Creative Writing from The New School in 2016 and hold dual bachelor’s degrees in Creative Writing and Mass Communications from the University of South Florida. I had the privilege of being mentored by Ann Hood, David Levithan, Helen Schulman, Karen Brown, and Luis Jaramillo, and was a finalist in the We Need Diverse Books Mentorship Program, where I was partnered with Julie Scheina (Little, Brown).
I've built my career at the highest levels of digital media and content strategy. I was a top producer and writer at BuzzFeed, Tasty, and Goodful, and later served as Associate Director of Short Form Video on YouTube’s global social accounts. Across platforms, my work has generated more than 5 billion views.
In addition to digital media, I've worked across film (Verisimilitude Films), television (NBC’s Starwatch), advertising, and higher education, including teaching and lecturing roles at The New School and Eckerd College.
My writing and NDE story have been featured across major outlets, and I've been a guest on numerous podcasts including iHeartRadio’s 'Hungry for Conversation', The Innerbloom Podcast, and The West London Witch Podcast.
I currently live in Los Angeles, where I serves as Chief Content Officer of a real estate media company and run a viral content and brand strategy consultancy. In January 2026, I was a Writer in Residence at Alexander Rigby’s (Penguin Random House) Allegheny Workshops.
Today, my passion and private work focuses on supporting conscious leaders in integrating intuition, creativity, and strategic clarity– so success no longer comes at the cost of self-connection.
My NDE showed me a future of empathic leaders and conscious business owner who would build a better world for humanity and our planet. I'm here to help guide you to that vision.
